The League of Women Voters of Plano/Collin County, Dallas and Richardson, and the National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Dallas Section, have invited Candidates for State Board of Education to participate in a public candidate forum to provide information to voters.

The forum will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 7:30 PM at Region 10 Education Service Center (Dallas and Ellis rooms); 400 E Spring Valley Road; Richardson, TX 75081

Candidates for State Board of Education:
District 9: Don McLeroy (Republican), Thomas Ratliff (Republican), Jeff McGee (Libertarian)
District 12: Geraldine Miller (Republican), George Clayton (Republican), Amie Parsons (Libertarian)

The format will allow each candidate three minutes for an opening statement, followed by a question-and-answer period in which candidates will respond to written questions from the audience, then two minutes for a closing statement by each candidate. Candidates will also have campaign tables.
