Here’s a little taste of what life in the land of the (formerly) free will be like under the tender mercies of the federal government: “Hon, I’ve got some good news and I’ve got some bad news. The bad news is the company is going out of business because they can’t afford the additional 8% tax the Feds have imposed, so I’ve been laid off. That means we’ve lost our health insurance, and as you know, that’s now a federal offense. Since we don’t have a paycheck anymore, we can’t afford to pay the 2.5% fine, so we’ll be spending the next few years in prison.
